Kolkata’s Pujo Spirit Arrives in Delhi as RED FM Hosts First Dugga Dugga Fest in the Capital

Sold-out show at Talkatora Stadium features Dona Ganguly, Anjan Dutt, Iman Chakraborty, and Anupam Roy; RED FM brings Durga Puja celebration to the capital with a modern twist

For the first time ever, Delhi experienced the full spirit of Bengal’s Durga Puja as RED FM’s Dugga Dugga Festival debuted at Talkatora Stadium. What began three years ago in Kolkata as a celebration of culture, community, and emotion has now expanded into a pan-India platformn with Delhi chosen as its next destination.

The inaugural Delhi edition drew an overwhelming response, with tickets sold out in advance. A blend of traditional reverence and contemporary artistry defined the evening. Audiences witnessed a classical Odissi performance by Dona Ganguly and her team, followed by electrifying sets from Anjan Dutt, Iman Chakraborty, and Anupam Roy, artists who are not just popular but also rooted in Bengali identity and storytelling.
While music anchored the stage, the venue itself was a celebration. RED FM recreated the vibrancy of Pujo pandals with curated food stalls serving Bengali cuisine, festive décor, interactive installations, and cultural corners, including a styling booth hosted by Blossom Kochhar.

The crowd comprised both Bengalis and non-Bengalis, underlining the festival’s broader appeal. According to RED FM, the festival saw over 80% Bengali and 20% non-Bengali attendance, reinforcing its position as an inclusive, emotion-led platform.
