Cricket and Classroom Converge as University of Canberra Deepens India Connect

New Delhi, February 16, 2026: The University of Canberra has confirmed the continuation of the UC Cricket Challenge in India, reinforcing its engagement with Indian schools through a programme that combines competitive cricket with academic exposure and cross cultural learning.
Delivered in partnership with Cricket ACT, the governing body for cricket in the Australian Capital Territory, the initiative integrates inter school T10 cricket matches with exposure to international education pathways and structured engagement activities. The 2026 edition will be hosted in Bengaluru, with further details to be announced.

Since its inception, the UC Cricket Challenge has created opportunities for school level cricketers in India to engage with Australia’s sport linked education ecosystem while participating in structured competition.
