The Finance and FinTech Summit 2025 at KLH Global Business School brought together corporate leaders, academics, and entrepreneurs to explore how digital innovation is reshaping financial systems while raising urgent questions of inclusion and sustainability.
Organised at the Kondapur campus, the summit was framed around the theme Disruptive Innovation for Sustainable Growth. The gathering underscored how tools such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, digital lending, and cybersecurity are moving from niche technologies to core drivers of financial ecosystems.

Ahmad Khalid, Senior Executive Officer at Imarticus Learning, spoke about the importance of industry and academia working together to ensure students graduate with skills that are directly relevant to rapidly evolving financial markets.
Dr. Gundala Nagaraju, President of World AI Governance, emphasised the urgent need for ethical and regulatory frameworks as artificial intelligence takes on larger roles in lending, compliance, and risk evaluation.
From the healthcare finance perspective, Yug Mallik, Associate Director at UnitedHealth Group, highlighted how digital platforms can extend access but must also address privacy and security challenges.

Srinivasa Rao Aryasomayajula, Former Chief Executive Officer of Tata Exports, reflected on India’s place in global trade and how new financial instruments will reshape cross-border flows.
Banking experience was represented by Nanduri Ravi Kumar, Former Assistant General Manager at the State Bank of India, who drew attention to financial inclusion as the anchor of any digital innovation, reminding the audience that technology must not deepen existing inequalities.
The host institution was represented by Dr. Anand Bethapudi, Dean of KLH Global Business School, who stressed that universities must act as laboratories where students engage with emerging technologies in partnership with real-world practitioners.

From the corporate technology side, Vinod Reddy Peddolla, IBU Head at Tech Mahindra, detailed how enterprises are deploying blockchain to secure transactions and applying cybersecurity at scale.
Start-up energy came from Arardhi, Co-Founder of FastCollab, Hyderabad, who noted that smaller companies are often quicker to adapt, providing agility that complements the stability of larger firms.
Vikas Surender, Chief Officer of V-Axis Learnings, linked the conversation back to education, pointing out that financial literacy and continuous learning are essential for building a workforce that can keep pace with change.

In his remarks, Er. Koneru Lakshman Havish, Vice President of KL Deemed-to-be University, said that summits such as this build a bridge between research, corporate practice, and entrepreneurship, equipping students not just with academic knowledge but with the perspective to apply it in real-world settings.
The summit concluded with interactive sessions between students and experts, reinforcing KLH Global Business School’s positioning as a hub where theory and practice meet. The overall tone of the day was clear: disruptive technology will define the future of finance, but sustainable and inclusive design will determine whether that future is equitable.
