  • HP Government to Conduct Final Phase of Statewide Scholarship Test with Crack Academy on October 9

With centres across Himachal and participation from over 75,000 students, the program aims to bridge access to national exam preparation for underrepresented youth.

The Government of Himachal Pradesh, in collaboration with Crack Academy, is set to conduct the second and final phase of the statewide Crack Academy Himachal Scholarship Test on October 9, 2025. Held across government and aided colleges in the state, the test is part of the 100 Ratan initiative, a scholarship and coaching program designed to support deserving college students from economically weaker backgrounds.

The upcoming exam will help select 25 final students per Vidhan Sabha constituency, completing the cohort of 100 per region. These students will receive fully sponsored coaching for national-level competitive exams, including UPSC, NEET, JEE, SSC, and Defence services, under the direct supervision of Crack Academy’s faculty.

In the first phase, conducted earlier this year, 75 students per constituency were shortlisted. The October 9 test represents the final leg of selection, offering another opportunity for students from underserved and rural regions to secure high-quality exam preparation at no cost. Students from families with an annual income of less than ₹12 lakh are eligible to participate, making the program one of the few large-scale, state-supported competitive exam coaching initiatives in India.
Over 75,000 college students across Himachal Pradesh have already registered across both phases of the test. Phase II will be conducted on-site in colleges affiliated with the state education department, ensuring reach into remote areas and small towns.

Neeraj Kansal, Founder of Crack Academy, noted that the program was created to remove cost and access barriers for capable students. The initiative is part of Crack Academy’s growing partnership with public institutions, combining academic mentorship with structured learning pathways for competitive success.
The Crack Academy Himachal Scholarship Test reflects an evolving model of public-private collaboration in education. By anchoring the exam inside state-run institutions, the government ensures access and monitoring, while Crack Academy provides expert instruction and coaching infrastructure. Students selected in this round will be enrolled in subject-specific batches and provided career counselling, mentorship, and full-time faculty guidance in preparation for national-level exams.

This education-focused collaboration also reflects the Himachal Pradesh government’s broader objective to improve higher education outcomes and career success rates among first-generation learners and rural youth.

  • India Rolls Out Real-Time Classroom Assessment with Hi PATH App Across 10,000+ Schools

Developed by GETI under the leadership of Dr. Sunita Gandhi, the Hi PATH app brings NEP 2020’s vision to life with ALfA pedagogy, real-time OMR tools, and global pilot expansion.

In a landmark moment for India’s education reform, the Global Education & Training Institute (GETI) has launched the Hi PATH app across over 10,000 Indian schools, introducing a real-time, digital classroom assessment platform powered by OMR scanning and ALfA pedagogy.
This rollout follows three days of deliberations at the Ed Leadership International Roundtable, where education leaders from across India and abroad gathered to support foundational learning and tech-enabled pedagogy aligned with NEP 2020 and NIPUN Bharat goals.
The Hi PATH app is the brainchild of Dr. Sunita Gandhi, a globally recognised educationist and Founder of GETI, and is supported technically by Nishant Jaiswal, Head of CBSE & Technical Operations at CIS & GETI. The app offers instant student-level performance tracking, freeing teachers from manual grading and administrative burdens.

    India’s Classrooms Go Real-Time
More than just an assessment tool, Hi PATH is a digitally enabled learning ecosystem that supports Purposeful, Active, Transformative, and Holistic (PATH) learning. It seamlessly integrates with the ALfA (Accelerated Learning for All) model India’s fastest-growing child-centric pedagogy that enables peer-to-peer teaching and zero-stress foundational learning.
“This is not just an app, it’s a full transformation model for teachers and students,” said Dr. Sunita Gandhi, who also leads India’s national FLN movement. “We’re empowering educators to focus on mentoring, while technology handles tracking and insights.”

Built for Scale, Built for India
Already active in thousands of schools across Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Delhi, the platform is also part of pilot projects in countries like Ghana, Peru, the Philippines, and Indonesia—a sign of its global relevance.
Students receive tactile practice materials, progress to OMR-based assessments, and get reinforcement via e-books, explainer videos, and animated content. Dashboards help parents and teachers collaborate on growth without punitive pressure.

The Bigger Picture: NEP 2020 in Action
The Hi PATH + ALfA combination is built directly on the goals of the National Education Policy 2020, especially around Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) by Grade 3.
At the Roundtable, attended by over 1,000 educators and international speakers, India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh sent a video message of encouragement. The message was clear: India’s classrooms are not just going digital they are going deeper.
As India moves from rote learning to purposeful, participative, and data-driven pedagogy, GETI’s Hi PATH platform sets the blueprint for what NEP 2020 implementation can look like at scale.

  • From Runway to Renewable: Phillips Education’s Skilling Blueprint for India’s Industrial Future

With leaders from government, academia, and industry, the Phillips-Arthan G.R.O.W.T.H. Dialogue confronts India’s skilling deficit across aerospace, defence, renewables, and AI.

In a bold step toward reshaping India’s industrial workforce, Phillips Education, in partnership with Arthan, convened the G.R.O.W.T.H. Dialogue a national-level forum aimed at tackling the country’s technical skill gap across emerging sectors. The event, held in Mumbai, brought together over 40 key stakeholders including representatives from government, industry, academia, think tanks, and skilling institutions.
G.R.O.W.T.H., an acronym for “Gathering Resources and Opportunities for Workforce Transformation & Humanity,” marks Phillips Education’s intent to move beyond fragmented initiatives and into integrated, outcomes-driven partnerships. From aerospace to semiconductors, and renewables to artificial intelligence, India’s ambitions are mounting. However, the workforce required to sustain that growth remains critically underserved. As the demand for skilled professionals surges across verticals like drone technology, cybersecurity, aviation, and defence manufacturing, the need for a consolidated skilling strategy becomes ever more urgent.

Delivering the keynote address, Hon’ble Shri Saurabh Bahuguna, Minister of Skill Development and Employment, Government of Uttarakhand, emphasised the importance of inclusive skilling especially for underrepresented youth. He highlighted the government’s openness to public-private partnerships that ensure both employment outcomes and social equity.

One of the central themes was the creation of a National Skilling Coalition a pan-sector body proposed by Phillips Education to align agendas, pool resources, and ensure transparency in tracking progress. The initiative would act as both a policy influencer and a grassroots enabler, targeting talent development in regions currently excluded from the formal skilling pipeline.
Shri Saurabh Bahuguna remarked, “India’s demographic dividend is our greatest strength, but it will only yield results if we channel it through the right skilling pathways. By enabling industry-academia partnerships and investing in practical, job-ready training, we can ensure that our youth are not just employable but ready to lead India’s growth story on the global stage.”

Looking ahead, Phillips Education and Arthan plan to convert this dialogue into a continuous programmatic platform.
India is already on the runway of its industrial future, but unless it equips its youth with job-ready, sector-specific skills, it risks being grounded. From semiconductors to sustainability, the next decade will be defined not just by innovation, but by how many are prepared to build and sustain it.
