    The new framework reflects a structured and layered approach to creative learning, designed to enhance employability while responding to the changing demands of the AVGC XR and digital content industries. Career X and Creator X are positioned as integrated academic pathways that combine foundational learning with specialised tracks and advanced career options, offering students clear outcomes aligned with industry expectations.

    A defining feature of the initiative is MAAC’s collaboration with 13 industry knowledge partners across post production, gaming, animation studios, content platforms, and technology companies. These partnerships bring industry practitioners directly into the learning ecosystem, ensuring that instruction reflects real world workflows and current professional standards. Confirmed collaborators include Cimpress, the parent company of VistaPrint, PhysicsWallah, Godspeed Gaming, Pocket Films, phantomFX, Rocket Science Animation, Cedge Productions, Pixel and Ratio, Resonance Digital LLP, Nilee Games, Mugafi, and Zebu Animation Studios. Canon has also joined as a knowledge partner, contributing to the Creator X curriculum and learning experience.

    The launch comes at a time when demand for skilled professionals across animation, visual effects, gaming, extended reality, and immersive media continues to rise. MAAC’s stated objective is to bridge the gap between academic instruction and industry readiness by embedding practical exposure, specialisation, and practitioner led learning within its academic structure.
    Speaking at the launch, Mr. Sandip Weling, Whole time Director and Chief Business Officer, Global Retail at Aptech Limited, said the creative industry now requires talent that is technically sound, adaptable, and capable of contributing from the outset. He noted that Career X and Creator X have been designed to offer learners clear learning outcomes, deeper specialisation, and exposure to real production environments, while also nurturing originality and storytelling skills that are central to creative professions today.

    The programs are structured to deliver hands on, industry relevant learning experiences across select career courses at MAAC. Students begin with their regular career focused course modules, building core skills during the initial phase of their academic journey. Once these fundamentals are in place, eligible and interested students can opt into the Creator X pathway.
    Creator X has been positioned as an industry integrated, practitioner led program aimed at preparing the next generation of digital creators for the rapidly evolving Creator Economy. Developed in collaboration with technology partners, content platforms, filmmaker communities, and creator networks, the program equips learners with the skills and exposure needed to ideate, produce, publish, and monetise content across multiple formats.

    The curriculum focuses on developing capabilities in short form video, digital comics, AI enabled workflows, and multi platform publishing. Alongside creative and technical skills, learners are also introduced to aspects of branding, monetisation models, intellectual property rights, and responsible content creation. The intent is to ensure that aspiring creators are not only production ready but also equipped to navigate the business and ethical dimensions of the digital ecosystem.
    At its core, the new academic structure offers students two distinct learning outcomes. Through Career X, learners continue on a path oriented toward studio based and industry roles within the AVGC XR sector. Alternatively, students with entrepreneurial ambitions or aspirations to build independent creative careers can enrol in the Creator X program, which focuses on creator led pathways and content driven ventures.

    Design education moved decisively beyond classroom boundaries on December 21 as young creators from across India took centre stage at the INSD Design Conclave and Annual Talent Showcase in New Delhi. Organised by the International School of Design, the event brought together emerging student talent, industry professionals, and academic leadership to examine how creativity, technology, and self-reliance are shaping the future of Indian design.
    The day opened with the INSD Design Conclave, titled “The Think Tank”, which focused on the role of artificial intelligence in contemporary design practice. The session featured perspectives from Chander Shekhar, whose career spans design education, global brands, and international development work, along with fashion designer Gautam Gupta, luxury specialist Harsh Mann, and architect Ashish. Discussions explored how AI is influencing design processes, material choices, sustainability thinking, and professional workflows across disciplines.

    The conclave was moderated by Pranav Raaj Aggarwall, Group CEO of INSD, who steered the conversation towards the responsibilities of design institutions in preparing students for a rapidly evolving creative economy. Each participating centre presented curated collections with defined themes, garment counts, and student teams, highlighting collaborative design processes and conceptual clarity.
    Interior design students presented scaled models and installations addressing modern living, sustainability, structure, and cultural heritage. Concepts such as tensegrity structures, nature-inspired spaces, lighting design, and traditional art influences demonstrated how interior design education is expanding beyond aesthetics to include engineering logic, environmental sensitivity, and experiential design.

    The jewellery design segment added another dimension to the showcase, focusing on circular design principles and material reuse. Student-led collections explored how jewellery can align with sustainability without compromising craftsmanship or visual appeal.

    A long-term European education group has set its sights on India’s early learning segment through a strategic partnership with HMI Learning Private Limited, the company behind the preschool and daycare brand Happy Minds International. The collaboration brings Germany’s Klett Group into the Indian education market for the first time, with a focused entry into early childhood care and education.
    Announced in December 2025, the partnership includes a phased investment from Klett Kita and Schule GmbH, part of the Stuttgart-headquartered Klett Group. The funding will be disbursed over the next two to three years and is expected to support HMI Learning’s expansion plans, curriculum development, and quality enhancement initiatives. The transaction is projected to place HMI Learning on a growth path towards a valuation of approximately INR 250 crores, or about USD 30 million.

    HMI Learning was founded in 2012 with a single centre in Mumbai. Over the past decade, the company has built a presence across seven centres in Mumbai and Thane, catering to children from four months to ten years of age. Its operations span preschool education, daycare services, and structured early learning programs designed to meet the needs of working families and young learners. The organisation has served more than six thousand children to date and works with over thirty corporate partners to deliver early childhood care solutions.
    The investment marks a significant moment for HMI Learning, positioning it to scale its operations while maintaining its focus on quality-led growth. According to the company, the partnership will help strengthen curriculum frameworks, bring international benchmarks into classrooms, and expand access to early learning services across Mumbai and other urban centres over time.

     Dr. S. K. Verma of Noida International University joined academic leaders at the 7th Future of Management Education Summit 2025 to discuss AI integration, ethics, and curriculum reform

    Noida International University marked its academic presence at the 7th Future of Management Education Summit 2025, held in New Delhi, with discussions centred on how artificial intelligence is influencing the direction of management education in India. The summit was organised by BW Businessworld and BW Education at the Eros Hotel and brought together academicians, policymakers, and institutional leaders to examine emerging shifts in higher education.

    The event served as a platform to reflect on how business schools are responding to changes driven by artificial intelligence, evolving industry needs, and global academic practices. Conversations during the summit focused on future-ready MBA programmes, the integration of AI and education technology, ESG frameworks, global collaborations, and models for lifelong learning. These themes closely mirror Noida International University’s stated focus on building management education that remains responsive to industry and technological change.

    Dr. S. K. Verma, Director of the School of Business and Commerce at Noida International University, participated in the discussions and shared his perspective during a panel session titled How AI Is Affecting Today’s Education System and the Challenges of AI. He noted that artificial intelligence is now shaping several core aspects of management education, including curriculum design, teaching methods, assessment structures, and institutional governance.

    Dr. Verma also highlighted the importance of responsible adoption. He emphasised that while AI brings efficiency and scale, institutions must give equal attention to ethical implementation, faculty upskilling, and strengthening students’ critical thinking and decision-making abilities. According to him, technology should complement learning rather than replace foundational academic values. He added that Noida International University continues to work towards MBA programmes that integrate artificial intelligence with industry relevance, global exposure, ESG perspectives, and long-term learning outcomes.

    The panel discussion featured academic leaders from several institutions, including Dr. Mayank Daundiyal, Dean, School of Business, Jindal Global University, Hisar; Dr. Jayananda, Pro Vice Chancellor, Shobhit University, Meerut; and Prof. Dr. Rajesh S, Vice Chancellor, MIT–ADT University, Pune. The dialogue examined both the opportunities and challenges associated with AI in education, such as data ethics, academic integrity, faculty readiness, and maintaining human values alongside technological advancement.

    Noida International University was also represented by a delegation led by Dr. Richa Srivastava, Head – Outreach and Industry Integration. The delegation actively engaged with other participants during the summit, contributing to academic exchange and exploring possibilities for industry-academia collaboration and global partnerships.

  • Academic and Industry Voices Converge on AI Research Directions at ThinkAI 2025 in Hyderabad

    Experts from Deloitte, Coin Earth Technologies, TU Berlin and Tampere University joined academicians for the KLH Aziznagar Campus conference

    ThinkAI 2025, the third international conference on “Recent Trends in AI-Enabled Technologies,” concluded at the KLH Aziznagar Campus on December 20 after two days of academic and industry-led discussions. The conference focused on how artificial intelligence is influencing research priorities, industry applications and future technology development.
    The event saw participation from academicians, industry professionals, entrepreneurs, researchers and students from India and overseas. Discussions covered both foundational AI research and applied use cases, highlighting the role of academic institutions in shaping industry-relevant and responsible AI development.

    Keynote sessions were delivered by Prof. B. Yegnanarayana, INSA Honorary Scientist at IIIT Hyderabad; Dr. Amit Varma of Coin Earth Technologies, Hyderabad; Dr. Subrajit Satapathy from Deloitte, Bengaluru; Dr. S. K. Altaf, Assistant Professor at TU Berlin; and Dr. Krishnaiah Mokurala, Postdoctoral Researcher at Tampere University, Finland. The speakers addressed emerging AI architectures, deployment challenges and evolving research directions.
    Vice President Er. Koneru Lakshman Havish said artificial intelligence has moved beyond experimentation and is now influencing real-world systems across sectors. He said platforms such as ThinkAI are intended to support research-driven innovation, global collaboration and student readiness for developing ethical and industry-aligned AI solutions.

    Technical sessions during the conference covered machine and deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, speech and signal processing, soft computing, AI-driven analytics, intelligent systems and applications of AI in healthcare and smart cities. Ethical and responsible AI, along with next-generation AI-enabled technologies, were also discussed.
    Academic review formed a key component of the event. Out of 108 research papers submitted, 28 were selected for publication in the Springer Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) Book Series, reflecting the conference’s peer-review standards.

    The conference was organised under the supervision of Dr. A. Ramakrishna, Principal, KLH Aziznagar Campus, and Dr. Sandeep Reddy Chitreddy, Conference Convener, with faculty and staff overseeing programme coordination and execution.
    Through ThinkAI 2025, KLH Aziznagar Campus continued its engagement with global research communities, contributing to ongoing academic discussions on the direction and impact of artificial intelligence.

  • Britannica Young Author Quest 2025 Draws Nationwide Participation as Britannica Education Hosts Felicitation Event 

    Students from Dalimss Sunbeam Global School, Delhi Public School Bangalore East, and The Orchid School Pune emerged as category toppers at the national competition.

    Britannica Education hosted the National Celebration and Felicitation Ceremony of the Britannica Young Author Quest 2025 in New Delhi, bringing together students, educators, and school leaders from across the country. The event marked the culmination of the first edition of the national writing initiative, which witnessed widespread participation from schools across India and recognised young students for original and thoughtful storytelling.
    Launched in September 2025, the Britannica Young Author Quest 2025 engaged more than 150,000 students from over 130 schools nationwide. The programme was designed to encourage students to explore imagination, creativity, and empathy through original writing, while strengthening core skills such as literacy, communication, and critical thinking. The initiative concluded with the selection of 120 national finalists whose work demonstrated clarity of thought, originality, and purpose-driven narratives.

    Finalists from Grades 4 to 9 were recognised across three categories titled Rising Quill, Creative Scriber, and Master Writer. Students were evaluated on the quality of storytelling, coherence of ideas, and the ability to convey empathy and awareness through written expression. Winners were felicitated with trophies, certificates, and prizes including iPads, Lenovo tablets, and Amazon Echo devices.
    Students from Dalimss Sunbeam Global School, Delhi Public School Bangalore East, and The Orchid School Pune emerged as category toppers at the national level. In the Rising Quill category, Ilyan Shamin secured the first position, followed by Arham Kapasi and Abhijith Kumar. The Creative Scriber category saw Taijasi Santra take first place, with Mihika Singal and Anika Srivastava finishing second and third respectively. In the Master Writer category, Maya Davele emerged as the top performer, followed by Siddhi Tyagi and Koshika Bishit.

    The evaluation process was led by a jury comprising experienced professionals from the fields of education, publishing, and editorial leadership. The jury included Ms. Angeline Chauhan, Instructional Mentor, Writer, Editor, and Podcaster, Ms. Shabnam Dohutia, Executive Editor at Encyclopedia Britannica, and Ms. Pragya Pandita, Product and Academic Head at Britannica Education India. The panel shortlisted finalists based on originality, narrative intent, and the ability to communicate ideas with sensitivity and depth.
    The ceremony was graced by Dr. Kiran Bedi, former IPS officer, social reformer, and author, who attended as Chief Guest. Addressing the students, she encouraged young writers to approach storytelling with empathy, awareness, and responsibility. She spoke about the power of words to influence thought, inspire change, and contribute meaningfully to society, leaving a lasting impression on students, parents, and educators present at the event.

    Speaking on the occasion, Utkarsh Mishra, Commercial Director, India and South Asia at Britannica Education, reflected on the scale and impact of the initiative. He said the Young Author Quest aligns closely with Britannica’s mission to nurture curiosity, creativity, and confidence among learners. He noted that the response to the first edition demonstrated how providing the right platform can help young voices articulate ideas, emotions, and purpose with clarity.
    The initiative brought together students and educators from diverse regions, fostering a shared culture of creative expression and reflective thinking across participating schools. For many students, the programme served as an opportunity to see themselves as storytellers and aspiring authors, reinforcing confidence and a sense of achievement beyond the classroom.

    The national ceremony hosted 24 finalists along with their parents, educators, and school leaders from the Delhi NCR region, along with members of the Britannica Education team. As the concluding milestone of the first edition, the event underscored Britannica Education’s continued efforts to support purposeful learning and nurture young voices through structured, meaningful writing programmes across India.
