Sheetal Arora, Chief Executive Officer of Mankind Pharma, explains the focus on teacher readiness and local impact
Digital teaching infrastructure enters public schools as Mankind Pharma expands its education footprint
Digital teaching infrastructure is beginning to find structured adoption within government schools as part of a district level education programme supported by Mankind Pharma Limited. Under its CSR platform KindCare, the company has inaugurated Digital Smart Classrooms in Ghaziabad, marking a continued focus on technology enabled learning with an emphasis on community impact and local implementation.
As part of the Digital Smart Classroom Initiative, 400 government schools across Uttar Pradesh have been identified for implementation. At present, 460 classrooms are operational, enabling curriculum aligned digital learning for thousands of students. The classrooms are equipped with audio visual teaching tools, including the K Yan device, to support concept clarity and engagement, particularly in schools with limited physical resources.
Speaking on the initiative, Sheetal Arora, Chief Executive Officer of Mankind Pharma Limited, said that education interventions must extend beyond technology deployment to focus on confidence, capability, and support for teachers and students alike. She noted that the KindCare approach prioritises districts and communities where access to quality education remains uneven, with the objective of building long term outcomes rather than short term visibility.
