Twenty eight cadets completed two years of structured NCC training, national and state camps, adventure activities and mandatory Army attachment programmes under the 1 Telangana Battalion.
KLH Aziz Nagar enters a new phase of NCC accomplishment with its first set of B Certificate cadets
KLH Aziz Nagar Campus has marked a proud and defining milestone with the announcement that its first group of NCC cadets have successfully earned the NCC B Certificate. The achievement represents a significant moment for the campus, which established its NCC unit in 2023 under the 1 Telangana Battalion of the Hyderabad Group within the AP and Telangana Directorate. In a short span, the unit has scaled in strength, discipline and structured capacity building, culminating in twenty eight cadets completing the requirements for one of the most recognised qualifications offered by the National Cadet Corps.
The cadets of KLH Aziz Nagar completed an intensive two year training journey that involved drill sessions, weapon handling, physical fitness routines, theory classes and multiple camps. The programme was structured to provide exposure to diverse aspects of military discipline, national integration, civic responsibility and adventure sports, all of which form the foundation of the NCC experience. The cadets were also supported by trained instructors who guided them through syllabus requirements, practical assessments and the discipline expected as part of the B Certificate examination.
All twenty eight cadets attended the Annual Training Camps twice, fulfilling the mandatory requirement of twenty days of continuous training, where they participated in structured drills, map reading, field craft, tent pitching, social service work and discipline-based learning modules. These camps remain a core part of NCC training and form the practical grounding essential for the B Certificate. The cadets demonstrated consistency, commitment and readiness throughout the process, meeting the standards expected across fitness tests, drills and assessments.
The campus played a central role in facilitating this journey by providing logistical support, training resources and administrative coordination, helping the cadets stay aligned with the expectations of the Battalion and Directorate. The institution ensured that cadets had access to regular drill space, equipment, academic guidance and opportunities to participate in camps and specialised programmes. This consistent support helped shape a strong and cohesive first batch of cadets.
