    Hotelogix closed 2025 with a key financial milestone, turning EBITDA positive, as the hospitality technology company expanded its market footprint, strengthened its product platform, and deepened regulatory readiness across regions. The performance covered both Hotelogix and its distribution brand, AxisRooms, marking a defining year for the group.
    Reflecting on the year, Mr. Aditya Sanghi, Chief Executive Officer of Hotelogix, said 2025 was focused on disciplined execution. He noted that the company expanded across priority markets, improved platform efficiency and achieved EBITDA positivity, reflecting the scalability of its cloud-based hospitality technology business.

    During the year, Hotelogix strengthened its leadership position in India’s mid-market and emerging enterprise hotel segment. The company reported that it now powers more than 400,000 rooms across the country, representing an estimated 15 percent of India’s hotel inventory. This expansion reinforced its presence among independent hotels and growing hotel groups seeking cloud-based property management solutions.
    In Southeast Asia, Hotelogix crossed 15,000 keys in the Philippines and recorded more than 10,000 active users. Adoption increased across both independent properties and regional hotel chains, adding to the company’s presence in the market. The enterprise segment also emerged as a key growth driver, with revenue from enterprise customers rising 35 percent in 2025 compared with the previous year. According to the company, this growth was driven by hotel groups in South Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa migrating from on-premises systems to Hotelogix’s multi-property cloud platform.

    EBITDA positivity was achieved through a combination of AI-driven efficiencies, a focused approach toward mid-market hotels in select geographies, and continued investment in customer support. The company also reported improvements in net revenue retention as existing customers added new properties, adopted additional services and expanded their operations. Referrals from existing clients contributed further to growth during the year.
    On the product front, Hotelogix introduced several enhancements aimed at improving operational efficiency for hotel operators. These included a multi-property dashboard designed for hotel groups and chains, allowing consolidated tracking of key performance indicators across properties. The company also launched an hourly booking feature, enabling hotels to sell rooms by the hour in response to rising short-stay demand.

    Artificial intelligence was integrated into the Hotelogix property management system to support dynamic pricing, forecasting, upsell recommendations, guest sentiment analysis and workflow automation. The company stated that these additions were intended to help hotels optimise revenue and operations while managing leaner teams.
    Hotelogix also expanded its compliance coverage across Southeast Asia and the Middle East. In Malaysia, the platform implemented e-invoicing capabilities, allowing hotels to generate verified electronic invoices directly from the system. In the Philippines, Hotelogix achieved Bureau of Internal Revenue certification to support audit-ready financial reporting. In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the platform was integrated with the Shomoos Security System to automate guest data reporting.

    The company further strengthened its third-party ecosystem during the year, expanding its marketplace to more than 200 integrations spanning distribution, booking engines, revenue management, loyalty tools and accounting solutions. This enabled hotels to build tailored technology stacks around the core Hotelogix platform.
    Industry engagement was another focus area in 2025. Hotelogix hosted the second edition of the “Hotelogix and AxisRooms Connect” event in India, bringing together mid-market hoteliers, technology leaders and industry stakeholders. In the Philippines, the company organised the “Tech and Tonic” hospitality meetup to discuss sector trends and technology adoption.

    Looking ahead to 2026, Hotelogix stated that it plans to expand its product roadmap with AI-native solutions while accelerating internal AI adoption to improve enterprise-wide efficiency. The company said it aims to expand its enterprise footprint by more than 50 percent across Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East and Africa, with the mid-market hotel segment remaining its core focus.

The campaign is valid through December 2025 and offers customer benefits of up to ₹3.65 lakh across multiple models in the company’s Indian portfolio.
    The pan India campaign covers a wide range of Kia vehicles, including the Seltos, Sonet, Syros, Carens, Carens Clavis, Carnival, and select electric vehicle offerings. The initiative is designed to provide customers with value driven purchase options as the calendar year draws to a close, while supporting both new bookings and upgrades.

    Under the Inspiring December campaign, Kia India is extending a mix of cash benefits, exchange offers, loyalty bonuses, and corporate schemes. These benefits vary by model and variant and are subject to stock availability at dealerships. The company stated that the offers have been structured to make its vehicles more accessible during the year end buying period.
    Customers can book their vehicles through multiple channels, including the Kia India website, the My Kia mobile application, or by visiting authorised Kia dealerships across the country. The company has positioned the campaign to allow customers to complete bookings digitally from their homes or through physical retail touchpoints, depending on preference.

    Commenting on the announcement, Mr. Atul Sood, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Kia India, said the campaign reflects the company’s continued focus on customer experience as it concludes a significant year in the Indian market. He stated that the initiative is intended to acknowledge customer trust while offering an opportunity to experience Kia’s design, technology, and ownership ecosystem.
    Kia India noted that the Inspiring December campaign applies across its nationwide dealer network and remains valid for a limited period. Customers are encouraged to check model wise applicability and detailed offer structures at authorised dealerships or through official digital platforms.

    The company continues to strengthen its market presence through a combination of product expansion, digital engagement, and retail reach. With a growing mix of internal combustion engine and electric vehicle offerings, Kia India has positioned itself across multiple customer segments in the Indian automotive market.
    Since commencing operations in India, Kia has expanded its manufacturing footprint at its Anantapur facility in Andhra Pradesh and built a wide sales and service network across urban and emerging markets. The company’s portfolio currently includes nine models for the Indian market, catering to both personal mobility and family oriented segments.

    The newly launched facilities include specialised laboratories for semiconductor technologies, unmanned aerial systems, and an integrated experiential simulation learning ecosystem. Together, they are designed to provide students with practical exposure to emerging technologies that are increasingly shaping India’s industrial and technological priorities.

    One of the notable additions is the Advanced Drone Soccer Arena, an experiential learning space where students design, build, and pilot drones in competitive formats. The arena combines engineering concepts with structured competition, allowing students to develop skills in precision engineering, teamwork, strategic planning, and real-time problem-solving. The Drone Soccer Arena was inaugurated by Dr. Ashwin Fernandes, Executive Director, AMESA, QS Quacquarelli Symonds, lending academic and global recognition to the initiative.
    The launch of the new laboratories comes at a time when India is strengthening its focus on semiconductors, electronics manufacturing, and unmanned aerial systems.     The Semiconductor Lab offers students exposure across the chip development lifecycle, including design, simulation, fabrication processes, testing, and applications. Through structured lab work and simulation tools, students gain insights into semiconductor use cases spanning artificial intelligence, automotive electronics, and consumer technology. The lab is intended to help students build foundational expertise in a sector critical to India’s technological self-reliance.
    Complementing this is the Drone Technology Lab, which provides training in UAV design, assembly, flight control systems, payload integration, and data analytics.     A key differentiator of the initiative is Galgotias University’s experiential simulation learning framework.     Satellite broadband has moved into active policy consideration in Goa as the State Government engaged in discussions with Starlink to examine opportunities for strengthening digital connectivity across urban, rural, coastal, and remote regions. The engagement reflects Goa’s broader push to reinforce its technology ecosystem and improve access to reliable communication infrastructure.
    The Government of Goa, under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, held strategic discussions with representatives from Starlink to understand how satellite-based broadband solutions could complement the State’s existing digital infrastructure. The focus of the dialogue remained on improving connectivity in areas where traditional terrestrial networks face limitations.

    A key meeting took place at the Mantralaya in Porvorim, attended by Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant and senior State officials. The Starlink delegation included Ms. Lauren Dreyer, Vice President, Starlink Business Operations, Global Access and Operations, Mr. Prabhakar Jayakumar, Head, Starlink India, and Mr. Manoj Ladwa, Government Affairs Strategist and Chairman, India Global Forum. Discussions centered on the potential role of low-latency satellite broadband in supporting governance, public service delivery, and infrastructure development.
    Speaking during the interaction, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant highlighted Goa’s progress in digital transformation and the State’s emphasis on strengthening digital services. He noted that satellite broadband could support sectors such as tourism, education, industry, fisheries, and rural development, all of which depend on stable and reliable communication networks for growth and efficiency.

    A second meeting was held at Taj Cidade de Goa in Dona Paula, chaired by Shri Rohan Khaunte, Minister for Information Technology, Electronics and Communications, Tourism, and Printing and Stationery. The meeting was attended by Dr. V. Candavelou, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Goa, Shri Kabir Shirgaonkar, Director, Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, Mr. Pravimal Abhishek, IAS, Secretary, Science and Technology, Managing Director, Goa Industrial Development Corporation, Director of Transport, along with other senior officials and the Starlink leadership team.
    During the discussions, Shri Rohan Khaunte spoke about Goa’s emergence as a preferred destination for global technology players. He pointed to the State’s growing focus on innovation, digital infrastructure, and technology-led development, noting that international companies increasingly view Goa as a viable hub for building and scaling digital solutions.

    The meetings outlined several areas where Starlink’s satellite network could align with Goa’s development priorities. These included strengthening connectivity in rural and shadow areas, improving high-speed data access for industrial and electronic manufacturing clusters, and enhancing last-mile digital reach under the Har Ghar Fibre programme. The discussions also covered the use of satellite connectivity to modernise maritime operations and support fisheries through real-time communication systems.
    Additional focus areas included the potential for improved digital services in tourism, such as connectivity for homestays, beach surveillance systems, and maritime experiences. Officials also discussed the possibility of connecting schools in low-coverage regions under the CARES initiative and supporting digital infrastructure for emerging use cases such as CCTV surveillance at beaches and AV and AR-based visitor guides.

    Through these engagements, the Government of Goa is working toward a comprehensive connectivity roadmap aimed at expanding digital access across the State. The approach seeks to strengthen rural networks, improve communication capabilities for coastal and maritime activities, and ensure seamless last-mile connectivity, while supporting Goa’s long-term vision for inclusive and resilient digital growth.

    Better Nutrition introduces an X-Ray Fluorescence based verification model that measures nutrients and screens heavy metals across every food batch in under 100 seconds.

    Soil to food nutrition in India has moved toward measurable scientific accountability with Better Nutrition introducing an advanced nutrient verification system based on X-Ray Fluorescence technology. The New Delhi based biofortified food brand has integrated the XRF Analyzer into its production process to enable real time measurement of nutrients and detection of heavy metals across every batch of food produced.
    Better Nutrition is currently the only private organization in India using XRF technology for routine food verification and is among a small number globally to apply the system at scale. The approach creates a closed loop soil to food verification process, ensuring that nutritional content is tracked, measured, and confirmed rather than assumed.

    The XRF Analyzer produces a detailed nutrient scorecard in under 100 seconds. Each test measures more than 20 essential nutrients, including iron, zinc, calcium, magnesium, manganese, and boron. At the same time, the system checks for the presence of over 10 harmful heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, and mercury, allowing nutrient validation and safety screening to happen together.
    According to Better Nutrition, almost every batch of food is tested using this method before reaching consumers. This batch level testing differs from conventional food quality checks that typically rely on limited sampling or standard nutritional averages.

    Prateek Rastogi, Co founder of Better Nutrition, said that the technology allows the company to measure nutrient levels with precision while ensuring food safety. He stated that Better Nutrition is the only private organization in India currently using this capability and added that verified batch results will be shared with consumers to improve transparency and trust.
    Most packaged food products depend on nutrient values calculated during formulation or based on regulatory benchmarks. In contrast, Better Nutrition’s system confirms the actual nutrient content present in each production batch, shifting nutrition from a stated claim to a measured outcome.

    Aishwarya Bhatnagar, Co founder of Better Nutrition, said the company has built India’s first system that can both increase nutrient levels in staple foods and validate them through scientific testing. She noted that nutrition is now treated as a measurable parameter rather than an assumption, establishing a new reference point for everyday food.
    The system also addresses India’s ongoing issue of hidden hunger, where micronutrient deficiencies persist despite adequate food intake. By enabling regular staples to contribute meaningfully to daily nutrient requirements, the approach reduces dependence on artificial fortification and supplements.

    Better Nutrition’s soil to food model focuses on improving nutrient availability during cultivation and production rather than adding nutrients at the final stage. The XRF Analyzer enables visibility into how nutrients are retained from soil conditions through processing, allowing continuous assessment and correction.
    As food safety, transparency, and nutrition remain key public concerns in India, the use of real time nutrient and heavy metal verification introduces a higher level of accountability into food production. The conversations now shaping 2026 focus on practical adoption, deeper infrastructure and outcomes that consumers and enterprises can clearly experience.
    Rajeev Singh, Managing Director at BenQ India and South Asia, observes that display technology has moved beyond being a passive interface. In 2025, demand rose for solutions that supported hybrid work, digital classrooms and content creation while also addressing eye comfort and energy efficiency. According to him, the next phase will see AI driven personalisation, wider adoption of OLED, microLED and quantum dot technologies, and interactive visual systems becoming mainstream across education and collaboration spaces. The emphasis, he notes, will be on technology that improves productivity while remaining conscious of sustainability and user wellbeing.

    From the connected home perspective, Pankaj Rana, CEO of Hisense India, highlights a decisive shift in Indian consumer expectations. In 2025, demand expanded rapidly across tier two and tier three markets, driven by affordability, connectivity and rising awareness. Looking ahead, he expects larger screens, AI enhanced audio visual experiences and voice led home ecosystems to define household buying decisions, with convenience and efficiency becoming central to brand loyalty.

    Security and surveillance also saw a transformation during the year. Aditya Khemka, Managing Director of CP PLUS, points to AI driven analytics, improved connectivity and stronger compliance standards as defining forces in 2025. He notes that trust and certification are now as important as innovation, particularly as surveillance systems integrate more deeply with enterprise operations and public infrastructure. For 2026, CP PLUS anticipates wider adoption of edge computing, IoT based intelligence and proactive security environments that do more than monitor, supporting operational decision making and risk prevention.
    On the consumer electronics front, Ravi Agarwal, Co founder and Managing Director of Cellecor Gadgets, says 2025 marked a turning point in how value is defined. Consumers increasingly prioritised reliability, smart functionality and pricing that made technology accessible beyond urban centres. Cellecor’s growth across televisions, audio products and wearables reinforced the importance of localisation, omnichannel presence and a strong Make in India focus. He believes 2026 will deepen this trend, with smarter ecosystems and energy conscious design shaping the next wave of adoption.

    The convergence of computing and sustainability was another defining theme. Murali Mantravadi, Joint Managing Director at Energy Bots, describes 2025 as a year when AI scale and clean energy growth became inseparable. As generative AI moved into enterprise production and renewable capacity expanded globally, the relationship between digital infrastructure and energy efficiency became clearer. He expects 2026 to accelerate energy aware smart homes and appliances that adapt to grid patterns, reduce waste and support national sustainability goals through predictive intelligence.
    At the enterprise level, Srividya Kannan, Founder and CEO of Avaali Solutions, offers a note of caution alongside optimism. She argues that while AI dominated boardroom agendas in 2025, many organisations remain unprepared for meaningful deployment. The gap between ambition and readiness, she says, stems from weak data foundations, limited governance and insufficient change management. For 2026, she stresses the need to move from surface level AI adoption to building robust, explainable and ethical AI infrastructure that integrates seamlessly into existing workflows.

    Taken together, these perspectives suggest that India’s technology story is entering a more grounded phase. The agreement confirms the company’s plan to develop advanced facilities for electric vehicle powertrain production, electric two wheeler manufacturing and autonomous ground vehicle technology. The announcement was made at Bharat Future City, where the summit gathered industry leaders, innovators and policymakers to map the next phase of the State’s industrial growth.

    Under the MoU, Gravton Motors will receive facilitation support from the Government of Telangana through the TG IPASS mechanism. This support will help the company secure clearances more efficiently and coordinate with various government departments so that the upcoming units can progress without administrative delays.     The project is expected to contribute to research driven manufacturing, local innovation and high skilled employment. By creating facilities that support electric vehicle powertrain engineering and autonomous mobility solutions, Gravton Motors aims to encourage the growth of an ancillary supplier ecosystem and open up new opportunities for engineers, technicians and emerging talent in the region.
